Welcome to the Northeast Motorcycle Association Website and Forum
Below is an outline of our viewing, posting and joining process and guidelines.
VIEW-
In addition to access to our Home Page, Safety Page, Group Photos and Event Calendar, Guests, or unregistered users have access to view three forum sections; “Introduce Yourself”, “General” and “Ride Discussions & Notifications”
This allows everyone to get to know our members a little, review some of our general discussions and gain knowledge about upcoming rides and events.
PARTICIPATE-
Registration is necessary in order to participate or post on the forum. This helps to eliminate unauthorized access and reduce spamming. Registration is easy by simply clicking here:Register or click the Register button on the top right corner of this pane which is just below the Search window. Enter the appropriate information and click “Register” at the bottom of the screen.
Upon completion of this process, an e-mail is sent to our administrators, who will then respond with instructions to complete the registration. Just post an introduction to the “Introduce Yourself” section and your access will automatically be complete.
You now have access to post and participate in the three forum sections listed above.
JOIN-
To become a member of the Northeast Motorcycle Association, riders are required to participate in three club rides (not including unofficial “pick-up” rides). The three ride requirement allows new participants an opportunity to see how we interact on the road and get to know us as individual members and as a group a little bit before any membership fees are paid. It also allows our members to get to know you. We are a very diverse and respectful group of people, riding all kinds of bikes, but we still want to make sure that new members fit well with us and that we fit just as well with them.
If, after three rides you decide to join our group (and who wouldn’t?), a motion will be made at the following monthly meeting to vote the rider in as a member. Membership fees of $25 are due upon approval of membership or before participation in the next ride or event.
MEMBERS-
As a member of the Northeast Motorcycle Association, you will have access to all sections of the forum, including Chapter Business, Committee Discussions, Member Contacts and Profiles, Association Documents and the NMA Store.
In addition, all members receive discounts at our sponsors, which include discounts on sales, service and parts at Plaistow Powersports in Plaistow, NH, free NH inspection stickers at Plaistow Powersports and a 5% discount on products produced by US Made Leather at the US Made Leather stores in Danvers, MA, or York, ME.
Rides-
We meet on most Tuesdays (Plaistow Powersports in NH) or Thursdays (Dunkin Donuts, Route 1, Topsfield, MA) and we have many Weekends rides planned during the spring and summer riding season. Our evening rides are through Northeast Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire areas, weekend rides are anywhere throughout the Northeast.
The information and process outlined above helps reduce unwanted access to our website and forum (spammers) and helps to maintain an organization of motorcycle enthusiasts who are respectful of other members, people and of the community in general.
